Foxconn Reports Record Quarterly Revenue as AI Demand Fuels Growth

Taiwan-based Foxconn, the world's largest contract electronics manufacturer, has reported record second-quarter revenue as strong global demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure continued to drive growth across its business.
The company said revenue for the April-to-June quarter rose 39.8% year-on-year to T$2.513 trillion (approximately US$78.7 billion), exceeding market expectations. The performance was largely driven by increased demand for AI servers and cloud networking equipment, alongside continued growth in its consumer electronics business, which includes manufacturing Apple's iPhones.
Foxconn also reported that June revenue climbed 52.1% compared with the same month last year, making it the strongest June performance in the company's history. The results underline how the global artificial intelligence boom is
reshaping the semiconductor and electronics manufacturing industry.
Despite the strong financial performance, Foxconn cautioned that geopolitical and economic uncertainty remains a significant challenge. The company said changing global trade conditions and political developments could influence future operations, although it still expects both quarterly and annual growth to continue during the third quarter.
Foxconn plays a critical role in the global technology supply chain, assembling products for leading companies including Apple while also manufacturing AI servers for major chipmaker Nvidia. As investment in artificial intelligence accelerates worldwide, analysts expect demand for advanced computing infrastructure to remain strong over the coming years.
Industry experts say the latest results demonstrate how AI has become one of the biggest growth drivers for global technology manufacturing, benefiting companies positioned at the centre of the semiconductor and cloud computing ecosystem. At the same time, businesses continue to monitor geopolitical developments that could disrupt international supply chains.
