FIFA has signed a three-year partnership with sports data and AI company Stats Perform to become the official distributor of betting data and live-streaming rights for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup and other global tournaments through 2029.
Under the agreement, Stats Perform’s RunningBall unit will manage licensed live streams and provide official betting data and in-match statistics to licensed sportsbooks around the world. The deal also includes rights for distribution of match insights, scores and player tracking information.
FIFA’s chief business officer, Romy Gai, said the partnership aims to enhance the fan experience by delivering innovative, official products that integrate advanced analytics and real-time coverage into the global football ecosystem.
The rights cover major FIFA competitions beyond the 2026 World Cup, including the 2027 Women’s World Cup, Futsal World Cups and youth championships, signaling a broader shift toward data-driven engagement and monetization in international football.
Industry analysts say this collaboration reflects growing demand for sports tech integration, indicating that live data and betting-related streams will play a significant role in the way fans consume football in the coming years.
